    The refractory lining of the front kiln of the rotary kiln is quenched by chilling and hot, and the temperature is in the range of 800 °C to 1250 °C, which can ban the wear of steel clinker and alkali corrosion. The selection of the main material of the refractory castable must be determined according to the premise of its adoption to achieve the goal of low cost and good use.

    The refractory aggregates are selected from the second and third grade alumina clinker, coke gems and mullite. The critical particle size is enlarged, and the particle gradation should be carried out in a fair manner to achieve densification, which is beneficial to the thermal shock resistance and intensity of the mobilized materials.

    Materials such as refractory powders, binders and admixtures are the matrix materials for refractory castables. It is also necessary to carry out fair particle grading in order to mobilize their functions. Under the constant temperature, the construction intensity can be obtained, and under the high temperature effect, it is easy to reverse the phase and carry out sintering. At the same time, the material will be in-situ lining during the period, and its micro-expansion can reduce the thermal shock resistance and intensity of the castable.

    The refractory powder is selected from corundum, bauxite clinker, mullite and silicon carbide, and is broken into various grades for combination. At the same time, ultrafine powder should be added to supplement the voids, and the activity is large, and it is easy to in-situ lining and mobilize the matrix function.

    The binder is selected from calcium aluminate steel, ultrafine powder and phosphate, etc., and is generally used in combination; the amount should be ensured to remove the intensity and the drying pressure resistance reaches 40 MPa.
